Collaboration with Wavemakers

28 augustus 2024

The Arab-West Foundation had an inspiring conversation with Muhammet Bilgic from Wavemakers and corresponded with Moustafa Abdalla, Wavemakers’ project manager in Egypt. They also want to contribute to the reconstruction of Gaza after the war. Wavemakers is working on the Wavemakers Summer Students Camp (WSSC) in Egypt. The Arab-West Foundation is one of the partners in this project, which is led by Wavemakers. This five-day camp offers students aged 15–18 workshops on water, food, energy, and climate change, as well as training in soft skills and English. The camp is aimed at 50 Egyptian and 50 international students. For more details, please visit the website. The total budget is EUR 45,000. Wavemakers is still fundraising for the project. https://wavemakersunited.com/whatwe-do/
