DESCRIPTION:A World of Neighbours is organising its first webinar of 2025\, focusing on self-care for activists working in challenging times. As 2025 brings many obstacles\, it is essential that those striving for change take care of their heart\, mind\, body\, and soul. \nFor this session\, A World of Neighbours welcomes Nick Demeris\, known as “the Human Instrument”. Nick is an experienced performer\, educator\, and facilitator who connects people around the world through singing and shared experiences. He has extensive experience supporting climate activists\, promoting racial justice and social liberation\, and working with young people in prisons in New York. He has also contributed to programmes of the United Nations\, UNHCR\, and UNICEF. \nDuring the webinar\, Nick will share his unique approach\, using singing\, sound\, and mind-body practices to restore the psychosomatic well-being and balance of activists. \nRegister here
