The Hague, November 25 — The Arab-West Foundation and Dutch Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation hosted a significant Network Meeting and Dialogue Evening under the theme “MESSAGES OF HOPE AND PEACE: Connecting for a Just Future for Palestine-Israel.” This dual event brought together a diverse group of participants, including policymakers, civil society leaders, and peace advocates, to exchange ideas and explore pathways for reconciliation and peace.
Key Participants and Program Highlights:
The day was moderated by Koen Vliegenthart, Chairman of the Arab-West Foundation, who guided discussions with a focus on fostering constructive dialogue and actionable solutions.

- Women in Peacebuilding:Representatives from Itach Ma’aki and the Jerusalem Center for Women presented strategies for advancing the UNSCR 1325 Women, Peace, and Security Agenda. They underscored the importance of women’s leadership in conflict resolution and peace processes, particularly during times of heightened tensions.
- **Reflections from Ambassadors:**Ambassador Robert Serry, former UN Special Coordinator for Middle East Peace, provided valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities in peace negotiations, highlighting the need for sustained international support.
Final Thanks and Local Leadership:
The event concluded with remarks by Mayor Van Zanen of The Hague, who expressed his city’s commitment to promoting peace dialogues and supporting initiatives that bring communities together.
