A New Beginning for Dialogue and Peace: Join Our Gathering on 25 November

November 25, 2024

News from the Anna Lindh Foundation: Revitalising the Dutch Network with the Arab-West Foundation

After a long period of inactivity within the Dutch network of the Anna Lindh Foundation, we are pleased to organise a special gathering together with our new Head of Network, the Arab-West Foundation, on 25 November 2024 in The Hague. This event marks a fresh start and provides an opportunity to bring new energy to the network and promote meaningful dialogue between people and cultures.

An Evening for Peace, Dialogue and Connection

Featuring contributions from prominent voices from Israel and Palestine, including Dr Yossi Beilin and Dr Hiba Husseini, and with a special focus on cooperation between the women’s organisations Itach Ma’aki and the Jerusalem Council for Women, the gathering will focus on hope, understanding, and peacebuilding. The evening will also be opened by Mayor Jan van Zanen of The Hague, together with our international Executive Director, Josep Ferré, highlighting the importance of this revitalised network.

The evening will conclude with a Quaker-inspired dialogue: listening in silence to one another’s experiences and insights. The gathering will close with remarks by former UN envoy Robert Serry, who will share his unique perspective on peace in the Middle East.

Revitalising the Dutch Network – Join Us

This event, made possible in part by the Arab-West Foundation, symbolises the revitalisation of the Dutch network of the Anna Lindh Foundation and our shared commitment to cultural dialogue and bridge-building in a polarised world. Registration is free and required, both for in-person and online participation. We invite everyone who wishes to contribute to this movement for dialogue and peace to register with the Arab-West Foundation.

Join us, listen, learn, and help us build a future of understanding and cooperation.
