On the 8th of September, EUROCLIO will host the third network meeting of the Dutch network of the Anna Lindh Foundation. Members and non-members of the Dutch network are hereby cordially invited for joining EUROCLIO in discussing the future of the network. The location will be the Nairobi-room of the Humanity House, at Prinsegracht 8, the Hague. You are most welcome from 12:45, with the program starting at 13:00 until 18:00. The meeting will be closed with drinks until 19:00.
The aim of this meeting is to enable you, the members of the Anna Lindh Foundation Network, to be informed about each other’s activities and approaches to current challenges in our work for intercultural dialogue in the Euro-Med region. We are convinced that we have many experiences and lessons learned to share with each other in a useful way.
At this meeting Roderick Besseling, who is an Open Data Coordinator at Cordaid, will give a workshop on the documentation and re-use of organizational and project data. He will introduce the International Aid Transparency Initiative and show how it can be used in any organisation.
You are most welcome to join the discussion about the future of the Dutch network. The current cycle of Network Coordination Support provided by the Anna Lindh Foundation ends on 15 September 2017, and the mandate of EUROCLIO – European Association of History Educators as Head of Network will end on 31 December 2017. After more than six years of serving as head of the Dutch network, EUROCLIO has decided that it will not run for re-election.
On 14 September, the heads of all national networks will convene in Napoli to discuss the priorities and strategy of the Anna Lindh Foundation in the coming years. During the Network Meeting, members will have the opportunity to provide input for these discussions.
